Intermodal Forwarding was responsible for loading and transportation of cargo from Bilbao, Spain to the final job site located in Nueva Leon, Mexico. The transport consisted of two lots.
The first lot consisted of pipes, electrical machines and other ancillary equipment and was shipped in three 40′ open top containers from Bilbao to Altamira, where it was loaded onto single and tandem trucks and moved to the job site in Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
The second lot was an industrial furnace and a loader, manufactured by a Spanish Local Company. The industrial furnace measured 8 by 5.1 by 4.1 meters and weighed 75 tonnes, and was directly discharged from the heavy lifter to the low bed trailer which was used for the final transport to Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
