Project Overview
Intermodal Forwarding carried out a cross-docking process for the transportation of 18 cable reels imported from China to Slovakia.
The cargo, totaling 22 m³ and 7.98 tons, was unloaded at the Port of Barcelona from a 40′ container and, after necessary conditioning operations, was reloaded and secured onto a tautliner truck for the final leg of its journey by road to Slovakia.
Throughout this intermodal operation, all customs formalities were managed, ensuring the cargo received the best fiscal and customs treatment at each stage of the process, guaranteeing an efficient, incident-free delivery. The transportation covered a total of 10,700 km in 24 days.
