Shipment from Barcelona to Busan, South Korea

Project Overview

At Intermodal Forwarding, we managed the maritime shipment of goods from the Port of Barcelona to Busan, South Korea, with a total of 34.44 m³ and a weight of 6,417 kg.

The distance covered was 10,350 km, and the shipment was completed within 42 days.

Thanks to the efficiency of our team, we were able to reduce costs by loading the cargo into a 40′ High Cube container instead of using a Flat Rack. This also helped reduce the need for specialized packaging.

Additionally, by opting for a DRY container, the packaging cost was significantly lower than it would have been with a Flat Rack, providing a more cost-effective solution for our client without compromising on safety or quality.
